Tasting - "Peter Lehmann Chardonnay"

NamePeter Lehmann Chardonnay
Variety: Chardonnay
Region: N/A
Country: Australia
Year: 2010
Price: $20, sale $9.95

Winery Review: "
The 2010 Chardonnay presents subtle notes of spiced apple slices and ripe peaches with hints of freshly baked bread and melon. Light bodied, clean and refreshingly crisp in the mouth, it offers just enough apple and pear flavor concentration, finishing with medium-long persistence. Drink it now to 2014."

My Review: Hints of green apple and vegetables on the nose.  A lot less fruity than most white wines tend to be.  The taste had subtle fruit tastes, kind of like a very chill melon flavor with hints of apple and also a little oak.  Wasn't a very great wine in my opinion, but did go down smoothly and was sort of refreshing.  I would not buy this wine myself, however.
