Tasting - "Georges DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau"

NameGeorges DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau
Variety: Gamay
Region: N/A
Country: France
Year: 2013
Price: $14 (sale: $3.95)

Winery Review: "Balanced and lightly creamy, offering
pretty flavors of plum sauce and
raspberry coulis threaded with hints of
ground spice. Elegant, with a floral
finish. Drink now."The Vintage Cellar

My Review: Very strong aroma on the nose, dark fruits and cherries screamed out at you from the beginning.  The taste had a little bit of creaminess to it, with a little bit of spice and herbs.  It was a very dry wine, a little too dry for my preferences, but not bad.  Overall, this is a very strong wine, but still not bad.  I wouldn't buy a bottle myself, but wouldn't mind trying again.
